The Lok Sabha has passed the Central Universities Law Amendment Bill, which aims to create central and tribal universities in the state as promised in the 13th Schedule of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. The bill would set up a central university in Anantapur district and a tribal university in Vijayanagar district, Union Minister for Human Resources Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said. Both said they had already funded the arrangement. “We are going to spend Rs 1,700 crore for the two companies,” he said.

Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath introduced the Andhra Pradesh state budget for 2019-2020 with an estimated expenditure of Rs 2,27,974.99 crore. Revenue Expenditure: Rs 1,80,475.94 crore. Capital expenditure: Rs 32,293.39 crore. An increase of 19.32% compared to the 2018-19 budget. Revenue deficit in GSDP is around 0.17%. Revenue deficit was Rs.1778.52 crore.

Today, Delhi state employees can write bank exams in Telugu. The long-standing demand of the unemployed has been met. Finance Minister Nirmala Sita Raman has said that examinations for the direct recruitment of posts of scale-1 officers and office assistants to regional rural banks (RRBs) will be conducted in 13 regional languages, including English and Hindi. She made the announcement in parliament on July 4 that the decision would be useful for those who work in regional languages.

This is 23.46 per cent higher than last year’s allocation (Rs. 12,200 crore). The BCI has allocated Rs. 7271.45 crore for various schemes. This is 17.03% more than the previous budget.

Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath has introduced the state budget for the state by 2019-20 with Rs 2,27,975 crore. Over Rs 75,000 crore has been allocated to the welfare sector. Varieties worth Rs 28,866 crore were announced to farmers. While YSSAR provides 942 types of medical care free of charge under the health scheme, the number has been increased to 1059. The government has opened up new governance in rural and local institutions.
